{Photojenic} Photography

My name is Jen Salvevold and I am the owner of {Photojenic} Photography. My love for photography started when I was a child. The Fisher Price Pocket Camera(the one where you click the shutter and you get to view zoo animals) was my first camera(Yes, I am a 70's child;). It was from there, that I moved on to using my parents old Kodak Instamatic w/flash cube. Come my 16th Birthday I had gotten a pink LeClic. But it wasn't until I was about a Sophomore in High School, with my first full time job, that I really was able to take off with my passion. I was truly able to keep up with buying the newest camera during that era(still nothing fancy thou), along with buying film; paying for the development and storing the photos in photo albums. Since those moments in time, I have gone through about a dozen and a half camera's from 110's-35mm's-digital's....from 2011-2014 I was the proud owner of a Canon 60D.  2014 I added a Canon 7D. 2020 I purchased the Mark IV 5D. 2022 I got my favorite lens for wildlife, a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens. My editing software is Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom & Photomatix for my Real Estate Photography. Photography is my passion and the center of my life!

A little bit about my life outside of photography is that I am a wife of 28 years. My husband and I have 3 successful adult children, boy/girl twins and another girl. For critters, we have Stella, who is German Short Hair/Lab mix and a Cavapoo named Josie. We are a very close family and try to find time together in one form or another outside of our work. I'm a guest writer for Her Voice Magazine, I have a PT Healthcare career and I work for a few Real Estate Agencies and Evolve Vacation Rental. I love to cook and bake; and having get togethers/meet ups with family and friends. Other things...I enjoy crafting and indoor/outdoor activities such as Biking, the elliptical & kickboxing, camping & exploring. I have hand felted Gnomes, Santa's and Vikings for sale on my Etsy page, https://www.etsy.com/shop/LittleDidYouGnome  I had graduated from college Spring of '13 with high honors & an A.A.S. in Photographic Imaging, w/certification in Matting and Framing & earned my CPC(Certified Photographic Consultant) Certificate. I am a member with NAPP, PPA & Focal Point Photography Club. And did a one year business degree.

I am available for all kinds of photo shoots and use editing software when necessary such as Photoshop, Lightroom & Photomatix. Photo Prints & Canvas' are available also, either contact me or you can order prints through my website directly. Also framing options are taken. I am willing to cooperate fully to your needs.
